BRIT Awards is a celebration of the best in music and brings together some of the most prominent names in the industry to give you a night full entertainment, thrills, and amazing live performances.
The excitement begins before any celebrities even step foot in the venue. Everyone is eager to see the star’s outfits on the red carpet.
Many memorable looks have occurred over the years.
Celebrities have had the BRITs as a place to explore their fashion since the 1977 first ceremony. However, some styles are better left alone.

Celebrities often feel the cold on the red carpet because the BRITs are traditionally held in winter.
Jessie J still looked almost hypothermic after she left the house with her iceblue lipstick.

Prince didn’t blend in with the background when he chose his clothes, the 1985 BRITs being no exception.
Purple Rain’s hitmaker made heads turn with his eye-catching sequinned suit, which he paired it with bright pink stole and a ruffled shirt.
The look was enhanced by satin-white gloves, and his signature curly hairstyle.

Denise van Outen – 2000
Although the Noughties aren’t known for their chic fashion look, Denise looked like she pulled something out of a fancy dress box to attend the 2000 BRITs.
When she wore a red-colored ensemble with aqua and lilac satin, it appeared that the presenter was trying to imitate Scooby Doo’s Daphne.
She still looked great and exuded confidence as she danced at the ceremony.

In the tight, slouchy ensemble she chose to wear with her Page 3 Girl outfit was a stunning display of her incredible figure. She paired it with a black longline fur coat.
This brunette beauty wore a choker with barely-there heels in Nineties style.

Many stars take the BRIT Awards to be able to do it all, but DJ Semtex is not one of them.

Harry Styles – 2021
Harry was inspired by the Seventies when he wore a bold Gucci suit with a geometric pattern at the 2021 BRIT Awards.
Harry, never one to shy away from fashion play, strutted along the red carpet with cream brogues on his feet and carrying a bag.
This year, he is scheduled to perform and his fans are excited to see how bold a look he creates.

While most people can’t pull off head-toe leather on their own, the Whitney emblem is a different story.

Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Justin Timberlake were making couples’ clothes a fashion statement. But before that, Bros. Luke and Matt Goss broke new ground with matching outfits.
When they arrived in 1989 BRITs, the brothers made sure that everyone was watching them. They wore leather jackets and distressed denim.
The accessories they wore were even matched, as the brothers wore matching leather gloves and belts.

Girls Aloud – 2005
Girls Aloud, who had just received their BRIT Award nomination in 2005, arrived dressed to impress at the ceremony.
While hoping to pick up Best Pop Act, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Cheryl hit the red carpet in complementary gold and white ensembles.
Although they may not have been awarded the prize, their presence on red carpet history is a testament to their talent.

Clean Bandit Grace was able to circumvent the ban on attendees bringing pets along to the ceremony.
He swapped his traditional handbag for one made of fish, and attended the ceremony with a goldenfish.
While she had chosen a simple white gown for the red carpet, her unique accessory ensured that she made headlines.

Cher, ever the showgirl was a shining example of the glamour she brings to any event. She wore a silver-glitter minidress.
A bejewelled hairpiece was added to her look, worn with a platinum blonde headpiece.

Daniel wasn’t missing when he attended his ceremony wearing one of his wearable art’ outfits.
British designer, David Bowie turned heads with his unusual voluminous gown made of flowing tulle.
But it was his unique headpiece, a large glass bowl that reflects his skills and is balanced on top of the other.

Anastacia – 2002
Anastacia took full advantage of the boho trend at the 2002 BRITs.
The Sick and tired singer flashed her bra wearing a crochet crop top with plunging sleeves that was paired with suede skirts and platform boots.
This look was complete with a patchwork jacket, and she styled her blonde hair into cornrows.

Geri Horner – 1997
Geri walked onto the stage in the bottom-grazing Union Flag Union Flag gown at 1997 BRITs and secured her spot in pop fashion history.
Although the iconic Gucci gown was originally a black Gucci dress, Geri decided it wasn’t interesting enough and asked her sister to make a Union Flag tea towel for it.
The dress, which has its own Wikipedia page, catapulted her and the Spice Girls into the spotlight and sold at auction for £41,320 the following year.

Years & Years frontman Olly wowed in a full-length feathered cape at the 2019 ceremony.
The singer was stunning, but he struggled to catch the glittery cloak from his boots. He narrowly avoided his face.
However, he made it look easy for the camera by swiping his cloak and taking pictures.

Lizzo – 2020
Lizzo looked good enough to eat when she donned a dress designed like a Hershey’s milk chocolate bar.
It featured the Hershey’s logo on the dark brown sleeveless sweater, along with a barcode and list of chocolate ingredients.

It was shocking to see Kylie arrive on the red carpet dressed in the thickest coat, which concealed the outfit.
