IDC: Industrial Printer Shipments show a moderate decline during Q1 2022

NEEDHAM, Mass., June 14, 2022 – Industrial printer shipments declined 2.1% year over year in the first quarter of 2022 (1Q22), according to new data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Industrial Printer Tracker.

Tim Greene (research director at Hardcopy Solutions, IDC) stated that “shipments started out relatively soft” at the start of the year. The market faces supply chain problems, war and pandemics that can all lead to inconsistent supply-demand cycles.
