Surat (Gujarat) [India]Students from the Institute of Design and Technology, a leading design and technology institution in Surat’s Textile City, presented the first ever fashion show IDFL “Fashionova-2023” in Surat. The students displayed a variety of garments and a sequence that was specifically designed using Artificial Intelligence generated prints.
Fashionova-2023 was inaugurated at the Platinum Hall in the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sarsana by the Chief Guest Smt. Darshna Jadosh, Union Minister of State of Textiles and Guest of Honor Shri Rajiv Saxena, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles of Government of India, graced this event. IDT organized an event in conjunction with a fashion show on ”Impact of AI for the Textile and Garment Industries of Surat”.
