Gujarat Assembly elections: Kejriwal promises to make Surat a garment hub and sops for traders

Surat Textile traders heard from Arvind Kejriwal Sunday that he was the Chief Minister of Delhi. He said the Aam Aadmi Party, or AAP as it is commonly known, will turn Surat into a “garment hub” in the country. It will include an integrated and export-oriented textile park.

As part of his campaign to win the Gujarat Assembly elections, AAP’s national convener stated that if elected to power, the AAP government would bring a special law protecting them from cases of fraud in the payment of dues.

He claimed that his party would eliminate ”raid Raj and fear”. The creation of a new integrated textile park that is export-oriented will result in the establishment of a brand new unit. Tax breaks, incentives, and other benefits will be available to you. Basic infrastructure will be provided for the textile units. The electricity rate will also be lower. AAP will ensure that all facilities are available for thousands of job creation and the export of large quantities of goods. Kejriwal stated that they will not tolerate the harassing and raid raj of tax inspectors.

He stated that traders worked 24/7 in order to support their families and pay taxes.

Kejriwal made a promise to put an end to cheating when it came time for dues payment. This was something he said as a solution to a pressing problem. This new law will be shared with Surat’s people and will open up new opportunities for the country. The minister also offered traders MSME loans and benefits with an increased limit of Rs 25 lakh to 1 crore.

“The Goods and Services Tax rates are causing a lot of problems. This issue will be raised with the Centre. He said that to implement the system, we would create a one-window system in order to remove corruption and simplify the problems.

Gujarat votes go to polls in December 1 and 5. Votes will also be counted in December 8.
