An altercation between a Patrick-Duluth Garment manufacturing unit worker and a striker resulted in a police name. Between 73 and 125 strikers walked off the job after eight have been fired, allegedly as retaliation for being union members.

Police, in useless, sought two teenage boys who allegedly set a 10-year-old Duluth boy on hearth close to Nice View and Vermilion roads. The boy stated he was on the lookout for his canine when two unknown teenagers sprayed him with a flammable liquid and ignited it. Every week later, the boy and his brother confessed to creating up the story.

Twin Ports docks are swarming with exercise as crew members match out ships for an additional season on the Nice Lakes. Officers say market situations in addition to the fracturing ice on the lakes are good indicators for the season.
