The Bangladesh Garment Producers and Exporters Affiliation (BGMEA) has requested a Tk54-crore ($4.5-million) gentle mortgage from the Bangladesh Financial institution to help 39 garment factories dealing with monetary difficulties that at the moment are struggling to take care of full-scale manufacturing on account of disruptions brought on by the current labour unrest.
