STS Inks will debut a 64-inch dual-head Mutoh DTF printer at the ISA International Sign Expo 2020

Printer Unveiling Marks Expansion of Company’s Growing Modular DTF Program; Products Will Be On Display at ISA Booth #2641 May 4-6, 2022

BOCA RATON, Fla. – STS Inks, a global leader in the wide format, industrial and household inkjet markets, announced today that it will debut a 64-inch dual-head Mutoh DTF printer at the annual ISA International Sign Expo 2022, taking place in Atlanta, GA, May 4-6, 2022. Complemented by a 44-Inch Oven Shaker Unit, the new printer and STS Inks’ expanding modular DTF Program will be on display at booth #2641.

STS Inks DTF System was designed to streamline the creation of custom tshirts and other apparel. In 2021, the company launched the Direct-to-Film modular system. Mutoh is a top-selling manufacturer wide format printers and the STS program was created in collaboration with them.

While the centerpiece of the STS Inks DTF system is a compact printer that measures 24” and is built to fit onto a table-top or rolling stand in any size print shop, the new STS/MUTOH XPJ 1682D 64” DTF Printer has been added to the program to fill a gap in the marketplace. This dual-head, staggered-design printer delivers high-quality printing at reduced resolutions.

The new STS/MUTOH printer has SAI’s Flexi DTF Pro Edition RIP Software, bundled with Flexi DTF Pro Editor. The XPJ-1682D features an enhanced touch panel and automatic bi-directional alignments. It also has LED lighting and an improved media feed flange, which allows users to quickly load and exchange media rolls. They are intended to be user-friendly and easy to maintain, but still provide high production and quality output. The XPJ-1682D is paired with STS Inks’ DTF ink, which offers users excellent color gamut and outstanding durability.

“We’re excited to give attendees at ISA a first-look at the STS/MUTOH XPJ 1682D 64” DTF Printer and have the opportunity to try out our entire DTF program,” said Shahar Turgeman, who founded STS Inks in 1999. “We have had an incredible response to the modular DTF system since its launch and we look forward to continuing to expand our DTF options and capabilities to meet the growing needs of the industry.”

DTF is a better option than traditional DTG technology (Direct-to Garment), which only works with pre-treated cotton and can wear faster. DTF has the ability to print on non-treated cotton and silk as well as nylon, polyester, silk denim, nylon, leather, 50/50 mixes, and other materials. You can choose between a matte and glossy finish and it works on all types of textiles, including white or dark fabrics. DTF doesn’t require any cutting or weeding. It creates sharp edges and images and requires no technical knowledge.

STS Inks created its DTF package and program to offer a simpler alternative to the products that were available. It spent a lot of research and time to create pairings that can be set up and used right away. It has created a user experience that is completely free from aggravation. This is unlike other equipment, which often requires numerous frustrating calibrations. STS Inks provides unparalleled customer service and reliability, particularly when compared to the challenges of repairing broken or converted printers, or ones shipped from overseas. These printers are often difficult to repair because they are hard to find parts or technicians.

STS Inks launched the industry’s first-ever fluorescent inks for DTF printing in December 2021. The company also introduced DTF-photo printing inks last month. These inks are true to life and offer more precise colors and improved gradients. STS Inks has a reputation for producing high-quality inks that are compatible with large format printers of all brands. STS Inks DTF Inks are high-quality and offer a wide color gamut, outstanding color saturation and excellent color density. They can also be printed head-safe thanks to encapsulated nano-pigment and nano-resin.

STS Inks can be used in a variety of applications. They are environmentally friendly and non-toxic. STS Inks come in CMYK and white, as well as other colors. They are made in America and go through rigorous testing.
