BGMEA advocates easing bond processes for Bangladesh RMG sector

The leaders of the Bangladesh Garment Producers and Exporters Affiliation (BGMEA) have formally requested the Chittagong Customs Bond Commissionerate to streamline bond actions pertinent to the garment trade.

In a gathering held lately, commissioner Mohammad Lutfar Rahman engaged with BGMEA representatives, headed by BGMEA first vice chairman Syed Nazrul Islam.

The BGMEA delegation comprised vice chairman Rakibul Alam Chowdhury, director MD M Mohiuddin Chowdhury, AM Shafiul Karim (Khokon), M Ehsanul Haque, alongside newly elected administrators Mohammad Mucha, Amjad Hossain Chowdhury, Mostafa Sarwar Riyad, Mohammad Rakib Al Nasser, Gazi Md Shahidullah, and Md Abshar Hossain, in addition to former director Hasanuzzaman Chowdhury.

BGMEA leaders requested Customs Bond Commissionerate to ease bond actions associated to the readymade garment trade.
