Ricoh IP CW2200 & IM CW2200 Colour Digital Large Format Printers Set to Benefit CAD Users and Large Document Users

Compact next generation systems respond to today’s business needs of architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and construction, as well as print rooms and government departments.

Ricoh IP CW2200 & IM CW2200 large-format digital printers make it easier and faster to create large-format documents in colour (A1/A0).

With the compact IP CW2200 digital wide format plotter, you can create output of excellent quality quickly, simply, and at a reasonable price. This new addition to Ricoh’s portfolio of responsive wide format printers answers the market’s increased demand for print-only systems. This small-footprint next generation printer allows for the production of CAD drawing with high accuracy, including line drawings and 3D renderings.

The new IM CW2200 wide-format multifunctional printer, which is complementary to it, adds the ability to scan and copy documents of up A0 in size. It is designed to be more than a simple printing and scanning device.

Both systems offer the following benefits:

  • Superior image quality for precise detail enabled by Ricoh’s own variable dot GEL-Jet Ricoh Piezo print heads and innovative GELJET pigment-based inks. The combination of GELJET pigment-based inks and Ricoh’s own variable dot GEL-Jet Ricoh Piezo print heads delivers a UV and water resistant output, which dries fast for use indoors or out, without smudging.
  • The permanent print heads reduce the total cost of ownership by reducing the number of replacements.
  • The longest print length in the class, 33m. This printer delivers productivity thanks to its long specification. Printing A0 documents up to 1200×1200 dpi in black and white at 3.8ppm or full colour at 2.1ppm is among the fastest speeds of its kind.
  • Flexible production for increased efficiency powered by Ricoh’s open architecture USB SD Card workflow. The data can come from a USB drive, a web-based tool that is accessible remotely or the printer driver.
  • Ink Save Mode, and the short warming up time make this an environmentally responsible printer. Inkjet printing does not emit any emissions and there is no waste paper.

Ricoh IP CW2200 & IM CW2200 are equipped with several enhancements to better meet the needs of users. The Ricoh IP CW2200 and IM CW2200 include several enhanced elements designed to meet evolving needs.

  • Speedier scanning and printing of precision, high-quality documents, such as technical drawings and site plans. [IM CW2200 only]
  • The new stack tray can accommodate up to 10 A1 sheets for improved productivity in scanning and copying. [IM CW2200 only]
  • Paper roll printing is now automatic and can print documents of up to 32 metres in length.
  • The new Smart Operation Panel is a colour touchscreen with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. It is compatible with all Ricoh products. This leads to better interactivity, and less error.
  • The automatic paper roll feeder, which can hold 175m of rolls of paper and saves you time and paper while increasing convenience, allows for a faster and more convenient change of paper roll. The second option of roll to roll can also be installed.
