Delta Apparel Reports preliminary First Quarter Sales Results

DULUTH, Ga.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Delta Apparel, Inc. (NYSE American: DLA), a leading provider of core activewear, lifestyle apparel, and direct-to-garment digital print and fulfillment strategies, today announced preliminary sales results for its 2023 fiscal first quarter ended December 31, 2022.

In the company’s first quarter, net sales are expected to be approximately $106 millions. The Salt Life Group segment saw 17% growth, with double-digit growth on its direct-toconsumer and eCommerce channels. It also expects continued growth in its wholesale client base. DTG2Go saw 20% sales growth in the Delta Group segment compared to the previous year’s first quarter. The Company experienced a sales drop in Delta Direct due to market conditions. However, Global Brands channel and Retail Direct both saw double-digit sales growth.
