Julia Lee Ann Leake of Ranson (WV), passed away Wednesday, 29th November 2022. She was 83 years old.
Born Oct. 29, 1939 in Staunton (VA), she was the stepdaughter and the daughter of Herbert L. Fellers, Ethel Margaret (Miller) Fellers.
Julia worked as a floor assistant at the Ranson Garment Factory, Lora Lynn Garment Factory.
Her hobbies included bowling, attending the Jefferson County Council on Aging, and being a past member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 934.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, and she loved dancing to country music.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy M. Fisher, of Ranson, Debra L. “Debbie” Pittinger, of Charles Town, son, Kenneth W. Leake and wife Donna, of Bunker Hill; grandchildren, Michael E. Fisher and fiancee Lauren Armstrong, Eric Pittinger and wife Angie, Angela O’Meara and husband Ryan, Dana Penwell and Jessica Leake; great-grandchildren, Thomas Pittinger, Arianna Pittinger, Alexander “AJ” Penwell, Andrew Penwell, Maddox Fisher and Aly O’Meara; brother, Eugene Wright, of Millville.
She was also preceded by Kenneth G. Leake, her husband of 55-years, who died Nov. 13, 2010, and her brother Robert Wright. Evelyn Bell, Evelyn Bell, and Michael Pittinger, her son-in law.
