For as little as $4,350 you could own this outfit with pixelated details

Loewe offers a great opportunity for those who have spare money and enjoy confusing others with their clothes.

The Spanish luxury brand is now selling the glitchy clothing shown on the runway at Paris Fashion Week last fall under the “Pixel” capsule collection. There are clothing pieces like a baby blue hoodie or a denim short, as well accessories such as handbags and T-shirts. If you’re on a budget, the cheapest thing is a T-shirt with a blurry Loewe logo for $590. Loewe promises that purchases will be limited-edition, pixelated packaging.

Of all the metaverse gimmicks disguised as commentary that fashion houses have come up with, Loewe’s — under the purview of creative director Jonathan Anderson — feels the least cynical. This is the Minecraft clothes do not come with an NFT that could soon become useless or access to a digital “community” for the sake of inserting buzzwords. It is all about the detail and artistry behind the creation of the clothes. How would the hoodie look in your hand? They are remarkable because of their physicality.

Me, personally? The clothes I am wearing are beyond my tax bracket. However, if someone was wearing one of these pieces on the streets, I’d stop to stare.

Loewe’s jacquard hoodie retails for $2,500.
